\tÖrvendetesnek tekintjük, hogy az egyetemi és doktori tanulmányait az 1989-es romániai változásokat követően végzett/végző generáció jelen van a tudományos életben. Tudományos pályán keresi a helyét, alapkutatásokat kezdeményez és végez, konferenciákat, szakmai rendezvényeket szervez, kutatási eredményeit publikálja. Ennek az ifjú generációnak a jelenléte tapasztalható az EME konferenciáin, felolvasóülésein, az Erdélyi Múzeum hasábjain. A tudós társadalom újratermelődése egyaránt tapasztalható az irodalom-, a nyelvészet-, a történet-, a néprajztudomány területén.</p><p>\n
\tAz EME Bölcsészet-, Nyelv- és Történettudományi Szakosztálya meg van győződve arról, hogy az új generációnak a romániai magyar tudományos életben helye van, amit felkészültsége, munkája alapján érdemelt ki. A szakosztály választmánya azzal a szándékkal írt ki 2006 tavaszán debüt-díjat, hogy kiosztása évről évre alkalmat teremtsen arra, hogy a figyelem e tudósgeneráció tagjaira, annak friss teljesítményeire irányuljon, hogy e teljesítmények egy ilyen utólagos számvetés keretében is beépüljenek a köztudatba. A felhívás szerint a díjat az EME azon tagjai pályázhatják meg, akik a közelmúltban kötet, tanulmány publikálásával, egy kiadvány tudományos igényű gondozásával, egy szakmai rendezvény megszervezésével stb. léptek be a tudós társadalomba.</p><p style="margin-left:1.0cm;">\n

\tA 2018-as év lezárulta után a következő pályamunkák érkeztek.</p><p>\n
\tGyörgy (Veres) Imola 1984-ben született, a Babes-Bolyai Tudományegyetem Magyar Néprajz és Antropológia Intézetében magyar nyelv és irodalom – néprajz szakot végzett 2007-ben, mesterképzőt 2008-ban, ugyanitt doktori tanulmányokat folytatott, Keszeg Vilmos irányításával. 2013-ban szerzett doktori címet. Rádiós újságíró, korrektor, 2008-tól címzetes tanár Marosvásárhelyen, a BBTE Pedagógiai és Alkalmazott Didaktikai Intézetében óraadó tanár. Konferenciákon adott elő, tanulmányai és más írásai jelentek meg.</p><p>\n
\tDoktori disszertációja 2018-ban jelent meg az Erdélyi Múzeum-Egyesület gondozásában, az <em>Emberek és kontextusok</em> sorozatban. A pályázó ezt a könyvét nyújtotta be pályamunkaként, Tánczos Vilmos professzor támogató ajánlásának kíséretében. A referens kiemeli a munka szemléletének újdonságát, módszerességét, eredményeinek fontosságát. A szakmai elismerés mellett a következő megjegyzést teszi: „nemcsak kiváló szakmai képességekkel (rendszeresen végzett elmélyült terepmunka, kitűnő elméleti-módszertani felkészültség), hanem kiváló emberi kvalitásokkal (megbízhatóság, rendszeresség, pontosság, céltudatosság stb.) is rendelkezik, amelyek alkalmassá teszik a további tudományos kutatásra.[...] A BBTE Hungarológai Tanulmányok Doktori Iskola friss végzettjei között György V. Imola a legtöbbet ígérő tehetség."</p><p>\n
\tSzuszámi Zsuzsanna 1972-ben született. A kolozsvári Babes-Bolyai Tudományegyetemen előbb újságírás, majd történelem–művészettörténet szakot végzett. 1995-től a kolozsvári, 2016-tól a marosvásárhelyi rádió szerkesztője, 2002-től óraadó tanár az egyetemen, 2006-tól szerkesztő, átmenetileg a Erdélyi Művészetnél, majd 2007-2012 között a Kolozsvári Televízió szerkesztője. A médiában való állandó jelenlét mellet tudományos írásokat közölt.</p><p>\n
\tPályamunkája a Cseke Péter irányításával 2018-ban megvédett doktori disszertációja, a <em>Képzőművészet és lapkultúra az 1968-as korszakváltásban. Művészeti útkeresések a romániai magyar sajtóban 1965–1975 között </em>című doktori értekezés, amelyet Angi István és Bartos Jenő opponensek opponensi véleménye kísér.</p><p>\n
\tVulkán Vera Tünde 1978-ban született, a Babes-Bolyai Tudományegyetem magyar-angol szakán, majd az „irodalom és társadalom" mesterszakon szerzett oklevelet. 2013-ban <em>Mártonfi József főigazgatói és cenzori működése</em> címmel védte meg doktori disszertációját. Irányítója Egyed Emese tanárnő. Előadással 2000-től vesz részt szakmai rendezvényeken, több írása folyóiratokban, konferenciakötetekben jelent meg. Gimnáziumi oktató.</p><p>\n
\tPályamunkája, a <em>Mártonfi József főigazgató és cenzor </em>című kötet, 2018-ban jelent meg az Erdélyi Múzeum-Egyesület kiadójának gondozásában. A szakirodalomban csak szórványosan emlegetett 18. századi irodalmár életművéhez a szerző forráskutatást végzett különböző levéltárakban. Munkája eredetiségét és eredményességét Egyed Emese és Biró Annamária által jegyzett ajánlás foglalja össze. „Szerzője érdemben járult hozzá e könyv [...] közreadásával a 18–19. század fordulója és a 19. század eleje oktatás- és ezzel szorosan összefonódó egyház- illetve cenzúratörténetének jobb ismereretéhez, a bécsi császári udvar, az erdélyi Főkormányszék és az erdélyi rendek viszonyáról kialakított kép árnyalásához."</p><p>\n
\tA közéletből, a sajtóból jól ismert, a hon- és helyismereti munkájával elévülhetetlen érdemeket szerzett Boldizsár Zeyk Imre tanár úr két új kiadványát nyújtotta be. Címük: Szent László. Mondák és emlékek Tordaszentlászlón és környékén; Tordaszentlászló és vidéke térben és időben. I. kötet, 1068–1989.</p><p>\n
\tA pályázatokat elbíráló zsűri, Gábor Csilla irodalomtörténész, egyetemi tanár és Jakab Albert Zsolt kutató, etnológus elismerve mindenik pályázat értékeit, idén két pályázatnak ítélte a Debüt díjat: György (Veres) Imola és Vulkán Vera Tünde pályázatának.</p><p>\n
